Rh Bill- Who The Hell Are You?
The issue regarding this RH Bill here in the Philippines is now heating up, to the point that the Church and the Pros kept on debating if it really needs to be acted upon.
Well, is that my concern? Is that your concern? Who cares?
But no really.Who is this RH Bill?
Some are really on with this RH Bill because they say that it could help the economic status of our country.Well, indeed, poverty is one of the problems here in our country.It’s only one of the PROBLEMS.There are many.And we don’t need to enumerate them.
But Wow! Talk about uplifting our country from poverty… now that’s something… they say that we can uplift our country from poverty if we can control our population.
What? No kidding?
Well that’s what they say.
So let’s say that this RH Bill is a package of family planning, contraceptives, abortifacients, sex education, Health concerns, parenthood, and God knows what more is in it.Now these things can improve the economic status or whatever status that there is which needs to be improved in the country.
RH Bill, can you be the saviour that will save us from poverty and uplift the country?
Well you really have powerful enemies, not to mention the Catholic Church who firmly disagrees with your methods and also the religious and antis who will always pray for your downfall.
But I think you really have the power to control the population, and that was already proven by other countries.And some of these countries are having trouble now because there are more oldies than the youngsters, and others have less population that they needed some human resource from other countries, particularly… ehem! Particularly from the Philippines.
What? Philippines? So we really have plenty of human resources in our country that we can even share MANY to some other countries.Is that a bad sign or a good sign? I’ll shrug on that.But I guess that’s what they call over population.Then that could be a bad sign.
And since this RH Bill is very concerned with the “Health” of the people, since we are all aware that sexual deseases are already spreading in our country just like a virus… well, it is a virus… then its method can definitely help couples, partners, or one-night-standers to enjoy sex without fear of being pregnant or having a transmitted desease.
Wow! Imagine the world of pleasure! Everyone is happy!
And I could also imagine if ever this RH Bill will walk in the classroom and try to teach its doctrines and traditions; they would definitely gain insights and knowledge… talk about Adam and Eve in the garden of eden gaining the insight from the tree of knowledge… and God telling them: “Who told you that you are naked?!” I can’t imagine same scenario when it’s already the teacher that says: “Who told you to get naked?!” Of course, this is just a speculation, but everyone knows the real power of curiosity, especially to the teens.
But who are you really RH Bill? Are you the saviour to redeem this country or the devil to fool us and lead us into our own doom?
Well, if you really are the saviour who can help this country for its economic status to be developed, then blessed are we.But if you are the devl who makes false promises, then woe to those people who will come after us, because they are the ones who will suffer most.
Actually, I’m not really into this argument since then.But now I think I’m on it.I don’t believe that over population is the very root of poverty.There are some other aspects.And you all know what they are.Besides having too many people in our country is not really a problem.In fact, as far as I can remember in our public administration class, human resources are the most reliable sources that a country can have.Instead calling it over population, why not consider them as resources? It is not the question of how many they are; but what we are going to do with them.
I also do not believe that it can reduce the case of sexually transmitted desease.If ever this RH Bill becomes free to roam around the street, the school, and the home; it will be like a plaque card that says: Go ahead and have sex! And this does not apply only to the adults, because even minors will have the way or will definitely make a way towards… like what I said, we all know the power of curiosity.Handing over condoms and contraceptives on the street is the same as encouraging people to have sex, and youngsters and children can see this happening.I can’t imagine if ever a 13 year old will start to ask: “can I have one?”
But, of course, like what I said, this is only a speculation.Since they are always referring to their right, which is not really being taken away from them; why not do it at the right time, right place, right person, right condition, and right circumstances.
And I also don’t believe that it is necessary to include this stuff in education.We will just add burden to these students, not to mention their mathematics, English, Filipino, and recess.Family planning and its application is not yet their concern in a very strict sense.And believe me, if ever you are 30-50 years old right now, and you go back to being an elementary or high school, you’ll never understand it in a right manner.But you will feel a bit excited when it comes to application of the methods.I believe that in this case, there is also a right time, a right place, a right condition, right circumstances, and right person to facilitate it- parents.
So this RH Bill is fooling those people who are blind.
I’m not really for an argument or whatever.
If ever the anti RH Bill wins then thank God.He listens to the cry of the poor.But if ever the Pros win the fight… then thank God.He has the reason.Because at the end of the day if everyone is already suffering the consequences, it is none but Him whom everyone will ask for help.
For all the antis who are against RH Bill, go ahead.Fight for what is right.God is at work.And for all the Pros who are for it, go ahead.You have the freedom to choose.That is your gift.
